Anime Arizona was a challenge for me. I managed to get sick a few days before thanks to a coworker having the flu and passing it on to me but I wasn’t ready to give up this opportunity. I wanted to break out in photography and I knew to not let it slip and to just go with it because opportunities such as these are rare to come by. Not only was I tasked with doing with photography and having a shot list of what to photography BUT I had to manage lines as well. It was not just tough but a learning experience for me. I had the pleasure of working Aleks Lees’ line and photographing moments for him and his fans as well as Richard Horvitz, Bryce Papenbrook, Eric Vale, Christopher Sabat etc. Working this event would prepare me to get on my A-Game whether it was bringing more memory cards, learning the do’s and don’ts and just snapping away with pics(with consent of course I’m not a monster)! Thank you again Jerry(my friend) who helped me get the volunteer position on the spot and Hayes Clement for giving me a shot. Hope to work with you guys again someday.
